THE MUSIC BOAT BLOG IS READY TO ROCK!

Hello everybody! Happy New Year! My name is Kalel and I played bass for the band Pillar the last 11 years. I am now spending much more time with my family (My wife Stacie and two wonderful little boys), managing the next generation of Christian artists, playing in a new band called Stars Go Dim,  and I am very excited about taking my family on The Music Boat 2009- our first cruise!   I am so excited that I wanted to host this blog to help us ALL make the most of our cruising experience. Let's get to know each other and learn more about The Music Boat experience together! And hey, if you cannot make the cruise this year you are still invited to join our blogging fun anyways.

Sadly, Thanksgiving and Christmas are now over and there isn't much for us to look forward to except lots of work. What better way to give ourselves a much needed break and that "something" to look forward to than a Christian cruise to the Bahamas being entertained by our favorite artists like Mercy Me, Toby Mac, Pillar, and many more. The Music Boat sets sail in less than (4) months! If you haven't already registered be sure to do so by January 31st before prices increase. The Music Boat is 75% full and filling fast. Call 1-800-889-5265 for more details and information on their affordable payment plan.

If you are wondering what this blog is going to be about...well, me too. I am going to be honest with you. I plan to make this up as I go. I should be able to snag a few exclusive interviews from fellow musicians such as Toby Mac, Noah from Pillar, maybe one of the dudes from Mercy Me. I will answer any questions you all submit to me about The Music Boat or really anything you might want to know. I am a pretty smart guy. I was a Chemistry major before hitting the road full-time. Oh, and I will have contests for free stuff like CDs from your favorite artists, autographed merchandise, maybe some free concert tickets to Winter Jam, heck I might even give my Navigator away! I'm crazy!

Let's start this off on the right foot- a simple contest for FREE stuff! All you have to do is introduce yourself and tell us something interesting (it would be cool if it was related to a cruise experience or what you are looking forward to most about The Music Boat 2009). Also, I need your feedback. Ask me questions! Who would you like me to interview (I might even just let YOU interview them)? What information can you not live without? I am your man. Go! I hope you have a wonderful week. Let's talk again soon.
